hm, life update: Got hired at Starbucks at the end of June, now it's the end of September, and I got a call two days ago that Starbucks execs decided to close down a handful of unionized stores and that mine was one of them. I have one more shift tomorrow, and then we're closed forever. There goes my only way of affording college (Through Starbucks' ASU Online program). Did my fair share of crying over this news, but now I'm updating my resume in a nice little cafe down the street from my house. My favorite coworker and I are going to hang out after work tomorrow. We'll probably cry in each other's arms for a bit, and then our lives will continue.
I'm 20, young, dumb, and experiencing everything for the first time. It's so crazy how shit happens, and then you just move on! I'm getting much better at doing that, I think.
